3 A’s of SALVATION
1) Aproach God

God wants us to approach Him because He loves us. * James 4:8 - Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. God will always welcome us. * John 6:37 - All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will in no way cast out.
2) Admit and Forsake your Sins

Sin seperates us from God. Unless we get rid of sin, we can never know God. * 1 John 1:8;10 - If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us...If we say, that we have not sinned, we make Him liar, and His word is not in us. We must repent of our sins. REPENTANCE means "TURNING AWAY FROM SINS". * Luke 13:3 - Jesus said, "I tell you... unless you REPENT, you will all likewise perish." * 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins to God, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and clense us from all unrighteousness.
3) Accept Jesus as your Personal Lord and Savior

PERSONAL means "relationship." not just relationship, but "intimacy"! Accept Jesus as the Lord of your life means that HE will be your MASTER and you, his servant. * Romans 10:9 - Because if you confess that the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Accepting Jesus as your Savior means that you put your life in His hands. * Revelation 3:20 - Jesus says, "Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in..."
